FALLS CHURCH, VA-The Association of Health Insurance Advisors (AHIA), the official health conference of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) congratulates this year's 2005 AHIA Award of Excellence winners.
During the 2005-2006 AHIA Luncheon in Baltimore, Maryland, AHIA proudly presented the AHIA Award of Excellence Winners. "I am very pleased that there are so many recipients that have reached the silver and gold level," said AHIA president, Debra C. Newman, CLU, ChFC, LTCP. "It gives me great hope that soon, every state will reach at least the silver level", Newman continued.
The Award of Excellence is an honor earned by associations that have demonstrated a commitment to their health members. Associations must hold a meeting on a health topic, appoint an AHIA chair, and have 10% of its association membership as AHIA members.
The following associations have worked hard to achieve this honor. We thank them for their dedication and involvement in AHIA. Maine and Minnesota are Silver Award winners. The Association of Health Insurance Advisors' (AHIA) mission is to provide leadership in sustaining and improving the business environment for NAIFA Federation members marketing a broad range of health related products and services.
